Newspaper Opinion-Editor, TV personality and commentator At 65 (in April 2005), Hıncal bey never hinted in his Sabah Gazetesi opinion column (entitled Hincal'ın Yeri; Hıncal's Place) that his personal life was undergoing change. Nor did his routinely irascible performances on TV's CNN Türk or Cine 5 provide any clues. So, when the news broke that he was in love with sexy 21-year old model Ece Görsel (and she with him), you could have knocked the gossip columnists over with a feather. But quickly, things got complicated. First, it was reported that the couple had had a lover's spat, then that she had posed nude for a Spanish men's magazine over Uluç's objections. (See an example of Görsel's 'Most Beautiful Turkish Body' pics at 'G'..) Then, before you could say 'petulant' three times fast, Görsel began whining that she was losing work, because of her relationship with the much older Uluç. So, the love light began to fade. And, when Görsel took up with another man (showman Ceyhun Yılmaz), the light appeared to be fully extinguished. But, just when the hour seemed darkest, the May-December pair re-appeared in public as 'friends'. We suspect that Görsel believes in the adage, "There's no such thing as bad publicity" -- and is milking her '15 minutes of fame' to the fullest. We just hope that Uluç is aware of that other, darker adage, "There's no fool like an old fool." And, we'll try let you know how this story ends...
