It was inevitable wasn't it? If Bülent Ersoy (Bulent Ersoy) was going to start 'getting rowdy' in public (as she has done for the past couple of weeks), it wasn't going to be long before others began to recall her younger, wilder years -- and bring them up again, as a reminder that she was no angel in days gone by... not exactly blameless in causing her own stage prohibition during the 1980's. So we weren't surprised when İpek Bey did exactly that, in his Tempo magazine column this week. (See left.)

Thanks to TRT Int Television	İzel was involved in a steamy affair with the lead male vocalist (Ercan Saatçı) while a member of the trio *İzel º Çelik º Ercan* in the 1990's. Their relationship endured during the time they performed as a duo, İzel & Ercan. After Saatçı cheated on her in 1993, they broke up - and İzel suffered a nerve induced case of acne vulgaris... so disfiguring that she gave up public appearances (and dating). After two aesthetic plastic-surgery skin procedures, she's still unsatified with the results.
