But a rich and villainous mafia-figure (Salih Güney as Tekin Haznader) has eyes for Çağla too -- to the point of obsession. When he can't stop the marriage between Çağla and Kenan, Tekin becomes crazed -- and goes to the newlywed's bridal chamber on their wedding night and, in front of Çağla, he shoots Kenan dead. (a 1 MB Windows Media Video .WMV file) In the aftermath, a grief-sticken Çağla plots an intricate and cold-blooded deception. She firstly lies at Tekin's murder trial, which results in his acquittal. She then entices him romantically over several months, until... on their own wedding night, in their own bridal chamber... she reveals her hand. As Tekin prepares to consummate their marriage, Çağla pulls a gun from her bridal gown, declares her undying love for former-husband Kenan, and cold-bloodedly shoots new-husband Tekin dead.
