Nalan Çöl Nalan Çöl in Evlatlık (Adopted Son) 1976
A striking brunette with a balık etinde body, Nalan Çöl began her movie career in 1972. Twenty-two films later, she retired from the business in 1987. |
Nalan Çöl (L) relaxing seaside with Melek Görgün (R)
Thanks to Erotik Türk Sineması150 | Caught straddling the fence... Nalan Çöl was a close friend of Melek Görgün. But although she appeared with Görgün in erotik films [like A'dan Z'ye Kadar (From A to Zed) written/directed by Aram Gülyüz in 1975], Nalan Çöl never fully 'revealed' for the film cameras herself... unlike her more famous pal, Görgün. But, despite that 'artistic' decision, Çöl never reached great heights as an actress. And, in a last ditch attempt to invigorate her sagging career, she posed erotically for Bravo men's magazine in the 1980s. Whether or not that magazine exposure was directly responsible for the 2 film appearences she made in 1987 is hard to judge. But, thereafter, she faded from the cinematic scene...

Nalan Çöl's Filmography:
Conventional Films --
Evlatlık (Adopted Son) aka Çıngar (Ruckus), directed by Melih Gülgen, starred Ahmet Mekin (imprisioned mafia king-pin), Serdar Gökhan (as Kemal), Deniz Erkanat, Kazım Kartal, Turgut Özatay, Kenan Pars (as Bay Vitale, a rival mafia king-pin), Reha Yurdakul, Gülten Ceylan (as Kemal's sister turned prostitute, during his prison-term), and Nalan Çöl (as a singer-dancer) in 1976. Plot: When minor-criminal (and short-timer) Serdar Gökhan rescues Ahmet Mekin from a prison assassination attempt, the grateful mafia-boss Mekin 'adopts' Gökhan. And, once Gökhan is released from jail, he becomes Mekin's strong-arm enforcer...In this 1.9 MB Windows Media Video (.WMV) film-clip, Nalan Çöl and Serdar Gökhan's paths cross for the first time as she leaves and he enters the nightclub where she has just brought down the house...
Kolsuz Kahraman (Armless Hero), a 'karete film' with a twist... directed by Engin Temizer, starred Çetin Dağlar and Nalan Çöl in 1973.
Special 'Conventional Films' note: A few movie-database websites attribute a role to Nalan Çöl Unconfirmed in Turkish Batman (1973)
 | Nalan Çöl in Yarasa Adam aka Bedmen Yarasa Adam aka Betmen (Turkish Batman) written and directed by Savaş Eşici in 1973. But her name neither appears on the Movie Poster (above) nor in the opening credits of the film in our own Turkish movies' library -- so we can't confirm Çöl's appearance in that film.
Erotik Films --
A'dan Z'ye Kadar (From A to Zed), an erotik komedi written and directed by Aram Gülyüz, which starred the Mete İnselel opposite Arzu Okay, Melek Görgün, Ahmet Mekin (who was so effective as Cemşit in Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım [Girl in the Red Scarf]), and Nalan Çöl in 1973.
