And, like the music CD's title, the whole album is in English! Tarkan just returned to Turkey from Germany (where he went to promote his latest pop music achievement) -- and he was mobbed by pop music fans and reporters at the airport in Istanbul. Asked by reporters to compare himself to a few up-and-coming Pop Music new-comers, Tarkan was peremptory. "I don't like to be compared with other Pop Music performers. I'm a valuable asset of Turkey. You can't compare those other Pop Musicians to me. You need to separate the (superior Pop Music) Apples from the (inferior Pop Music) Pears. When you do that separation, the truth will emerge." As for his new Pop Music CD, the famous Pop Singer said, "I've been wanting and working toward this album for 10 years. My fans have had to wait, but their patient waiting will be well-rewarded. Update: Tarkan's new album was officially released on 7 April 2006 -- and immediately went to #3 in the Turkish Pop Album charts. Will it go to 'Top of the Turkish Pops', just like all his other Turkish-language Pop CDs? If it does, English-language Pop Music may never be the same...
