The Sabah Newspaper 'Frikik Special'After Britney Spears started showing up in public without undies...
Britney Spears' recent explicit lower body displays prompted Turkish
human-interest columnist Zeynep Güler to write a half page editorial on the
subject (for her newspaper's 'Günaydin' celebrity-news supplement) --
which compared Britney's antics to the antics of Turkish
celebrities...
Here's some of what she had to say...

Our Turkish Celebs (don't quite) give Britney a run for her money --
when it comes to Frikik
Recently, everyone has been talking about the frikik (free-kick) that
famous singer Britney Spears has been giving. Just after she filed for
divorce from husband Kevin Federline, she started bar-hopping with
notorious new-friends Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. And Spears made
headlines when she was photographed in an inebriated state without
undies.
As a result, the subject of giving frikik (frikik vermek) has become a
cause célèbre -- and all around the world, press-photographers are on
the look-out for frikik photos, whether they be of famous
or not so famous personalities.
In Turkey, for example, our female celebrities (both entertainers and
high-society notables) have been under photographic-press
scrutiny for years -- and our celebrities have given Britney a run for her money
(until her most recent photos)!
Famous Turkish women (who like to
show-off with short dresses and skirts when they bar-hop at night) are
often seen giving frikik, especially when entering or departing their
automobiles. And even though our celebrities haven't dared to match
Britney's bare-bottom frikik, they've still been humorously
eye-catching...
...despite the fact that there's much more on view
at any local beach in the summertime, these days.
As for the pictures above...
Starting from upper left with Britney herself and continuing counter
clockwise, here are a few of our Turkish celebrities who recently gave
frikik...
singer-actress Ajda Pekkan, actress-model Hande Ataizi, model
Cağla Şikel,
the versatile Avşar sisters (Helin [upper] and Hülya
[lower]),
film and TV actress Nurgül Yeşilçay, and singer Nükhet Duru.
