You may have seen our page The Sabah Newspaper 'Frikik Special' -- in which reporter Zeynep Güler opined that, "Famous Turkish women are often seen giving frikik, but our celebrities haven't dared to match Britney Spears's bare-bottom frikik antics..." Reporter Güler shouldn't have spoken so soon... because Bülent Ersoy's recent frikik (while she was a jury member on the Popstar Alaturka TV talent-scout show) appears to meet the 'Britney Spears Standard'... The mini photo-article explains that Transsexual Diva Bülent Ersoy (who recently underwent extensive external-body plastic surgery) pooh-poohed her Esthetic Surgeon's well-intended advice and refused to fully recuperate before resuming work. As a result, she's suffering a number of surgical complications. For example, the silicon that had been injected into legs and knees to enhance their looks, has now slipped down to her ankles (ayak bileğe) -- and everyone is (cruelly) joking about the diva's silicon woes ('ayak bileğine kayan' silkonunu). And in the sidebar entitled Çorabın sırrı çözüldü (Secret of the stockings solved), we learn that Ersoy chided one of the female Popstar contestants for not wearing stockings on-stage. The argument heated up when fellow-female jury-member Ebru Gündeş declared "I don't wear stockings either." And it caused people to say that Bülent Hanım only favored stockings these days because they help hide the scars from her esthetic knee surgery.
