Turkey Sites and Sounds Our blog about Turkish life 'Blog' sounds too pretentious for this Turkish website page of ours -- but we've used it because the term 'blog' (short for 'weblog') seems to be so well understood these days. However, to be perfectly clear about our purpose... we'll be using this page as a place to share our everyday observations of Turkey on a wide range of topics -- that have some sort of relation (however remote) to our Turkish website and the activities surrounding it. That means we'll address anything that catches our attention as we live our own 'Turkey Life'... reporting to you on anything that doesn't find a 'natural' place in other more traditional sections of our 'Turkey site'... reporting anything that may (we hope) prove helpful, useful, or interesting to you -- as you contemplate the possibility of your own 'Turkey Life', at some time in the not too distant future.
