Beauty Queens Hülya Avşar and Banu Alkan haven't been friends since Hülya made fun of Banu's breathy musical refrain in her sexually charged 1999 song-hit, Neremi Neremi (Which part of my body do you like most?) And their beauty-feud continues to erupt now and again, as it did just a couple of days ago...
After former movie-star Banu Hanım was caught swimming topless on camera earlier this month, Hülya was quoted as saying, "Banu looks like a water buffalo, swimming like that." But, when news of the insult got back to Banu, she was surprisingly silent -- didn't respond publicly at all.
Turns out she was just biding her time, laying in wait to exact her revenge.
And last week, when more cellulite photos surfaced in the news media of Hülya opening her own summer swim season, in a too tight bikini, which revealed her dimpled cellulite legs in full bloom -- Banu got her chance (eline fırsat geçti), and really cut loose at Hülya (açtı ağzını yumdu gözünü). Taking careful aim, Banu fired, and hit Hülya squarely and firmly on the butts-eye, saying, "Hülya calls me a water buffalo? She ought to address her own physical problems before she ventures out to be critical of others. Just look at that mess which once was her body -- it's riddled with cellulite dimples (kalbura dönmüş and delik deşik). Hulya looks like a wrecked ancient ruin."
Banu's riposte has, so far, left Hülya speechless...
Have we heard the last word this season in the long running feud between these two former movie stars and beauty queens?
Somehow we don't think so...
